As of NUBIGON v6.0.0., cameras are now individual items in the Object List. In the same scene, you can create as many cameras as you like.
Follow these steps to animate a camera:
Create Path
- Select the default camera object from the Object List.
- Configure the first camera viewpoint.
- Insert the first keyframe from Animate > Insert keyframe (Shortcut: I)
- Left-click & drag the timeline indicator to a new timestamp (Press & hold SHIFT to snap to the ruler lines).
- Change the camera viewpoint.
- Insert the second keyframe.
- Repeat steps 4-6 as desired.
- Adjust the timeline range so that it covers all keyframes.
- Move the timeline indicator to the start of the timeline range (left-click & drag or click).
- Press SPACE or clickto preview the animation.
Optionally, you can animate additional cameras. To do this, first create a new camera , select it in the Object List, and then clickto look through the selected camera. Finally, proceed to step 2.
Update Path
Select & look through the desired camera. Then, you have five ways to update a camera animation:
Update an existing keyframe:
- SHIFT+left-click & drag to snap the timeline indicator to the relevant keyframe.
- Change the camera viewpoint & insert a keyframe to override the relevant keyframe.
- Special case: To change the camera orientation without altering its position, switch to Fly Mode from the toolbar. In this mode, you can rotate the camera without moving it.
Add a new keyframe:
- Left-click & drag the timeline indicator to the desired timestamp.
- Change the camera viewpoint & insert a new keyframe.
Delete existing keyframes:
- Select the keyframe you want to delete. To select multiple keyframes, press & hold CTRL on your keyboard.
- Press DEL to delete selected keyframes.
Change animation speed:
- To speed up the part of the animation between two keyframes, move them closer to each other in the timeline.
- To slow down, move them farther apart.
Change interpolation & easing:
- Select the keyframe(s) you want to alter.
- Pick the mode from Animate > Set keyframe interpolation.
You can move the timeline indicator to the start of the timeline range and press SPACE to preview the changes.
Render
Move the timeline indicator back to the start of the timeline range, set the desired FPS, and press Export.
In the Render Video window, choose the output file format, verify you're rendering from the right camera and press Render.
